F U L L C I R C L E 'DUO'
DEAN-Is originally from Delaware. He's played in many bands over the years. When he came to R.I. he hooked up with SAHARA, They were an "A" band in the 80's. He played drums with them for a while. After SAHARA he hooked up with HIT AND RUN, a working band that kept steady gigs. After many member changes he decided to try his hand at bass guitar. He hooked up with Peter and did a duo called DOUBLE UP. After they went as far as they could go in came:
GARY-Central Falls R.I. First instrument was a guitar from Ann and Hope. Kept at it with different hack bands for a while. A job opened up in a working band called XLR8 the only thing was it was for bass guitar. It was a money gig so the switch was on. After a couple of years they went their seperate ways, he decided to hook up with a friend playing original music. Euthanasia was doing original jobs in NY, Mass and RI. Eric moved to the west coast and that was the end of that. A couple of cover bands later(NO IDEA,100 proof) Gary, Peter and Paul formed FULL CIRCLE, Paul left and in came Dean back on drums.
FULL CIRCLE- Was complete in August 1994. 3 pc band with a wide range and huge song list. Carl came in on guitar in 1995. He played guitar like a madman. After Carl was Mike for 2 gigs(whew). Manny played for about a year then went to pursue building amplifiers and fixing guitars. In stepped Rick, he fit in right away and FULL CIRCLE was off again. Due to lack of work and the coming of duo's Gary started playing guitar and Dean picked up bass. Rick went on to form his own band THE YOUNG FOSSILS and is doing great. In between guitar players there was always the amazing GERRY CLANCY helping Dean and Gary out. Everybody still gets along and keeps in touch!! CARL and GERRY passed away but are still in their thoughts everytime they play.
FULL CIRCLE 'Duo'- complete in 1999. Dean plays bass guitar, handles all the electronic drums(all his own beats from scratch) and plays live drums on all the prerecorded tracks. He also plays harmonica and does D-JAYING.
Gary plays guitar and plays the keyboards on the prerecorded backing tracks. They play music ranging from the 50's till the current date. Classic, Country, Alt, Blues and plenty of dance music. They have been going strong for 10 years and hope to keep going for many years to come. Thanks to all our friends for your support over the years!!!
RHINO COMES IN- WELL IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I WROTE ANYTHING ON THIS PAGE, I ACTUALLY FORGOT MY PASSWORD! IF YOU'VE SEEN US LATELY YOU KNOW BY NOW THAT WE HAVE INCORPORATED THE BIG MAN INTO THE BAND. DEAN AND I HAVE BEEN DOING THE DUO FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS BUT STILL GETTING THE URGE TO "ROCK". WE PLAY ONLY THE SONGS THAT WE WANT TO PLAY. IN THE DUO IT'S OK TO PLAY SOME STUFF BUT WE DON'T WANT TO FALL INTO THE SAME HUMDRUM MOOD. I FOR ONE AM LOOKING FORWARD TO FUTURE DATES AS THE 3 PIECE AND WHO KNOWS MAYBE SOMEDAY 4. TRY TO GET OUT TO SEE US SOMETIME WE'LL MAKE IT WORTH YOUR TIME!!
Enter RHINO on drums, doing the duo is great and we love it but from time to time you need to play loud!!! Rhino has been playing drums with us for close to 6 months now. We play a lot more heavy stuff (JUDAS PRIEST-THIN LIZZY)to kind of get it out of our system. Rhino has played drums professionally for years most notably with THE SCORE and for a time with THE FREEZE, We ran sound for the Freeze one night and decided RHINO should be playing with us. It worked out great so far Check it Out!!!
