Playing blackjack online is different from land based casinos in that the dealer may or may not shuffle after every hand. Knowing this, it is best to just follow basic single deck strategy and leave the card counting out. Counting cards is really only good when the dealer shuffles after 3 or more hands. The following tips will better your odds of winning blackjack at an online casino.
1. Set a cash-out balance and stick to it with great effort.
2. Stand on 12s when a dealer shows a 3, 4, 5 and 6.
3. Stand on 13, 14, 15 and 16 when the dealer shows a 2 through 6.
4. Never take insurance.
5. Never double down on 2 through 7.
6. Double down on 8s when the dearler has a 5 and 6.
7. Double down on 9s when the dearler has a 2 through 6.
8. Double down on 10s when the the dealer has a 2 through 9.
9. Always double down on 11s.
10. Double down on soft 13 through and soft 16 when the dealer shows a 4 through 6.
11. Double down on soft 17 when the dealer shows a 2 through 6.
12. Double down on soft 18 when the dealer shows a 3 through 6.
13. Double down on soft 19 when the dealer shows a 6.
14. Split 2s and 3s when the dealer shows a 3 through 7.
15. Never split 4s.
16. Never split 5s.
17. Split 6s when the dealer shows a 2 through 6.
18. Split 7s when the dealer shows a 2 through 7.
19. Split 8s when the dealer shows a 2 through 9 and 11.
20. Split 9s when the dealer shows a 2 through 6, 8 and 9.
21. Never split 10s.
22. Always split As.
23. Don't play for fun over your playthrough requirement if you reach your cash out goal. Stop and cash out once the playthrough requirements are met and the cash out goal is reached.
