Disgusted The Band
This is the official site of the Goth-Metal band Disgusted.
We do many covers of songs by artists such as, Marilyn Manson, Danzig, The Misfits, Hypocrisy..Well, you get the idea. We also have a few original songs and have more always in the works.
We chose the name Disgusted because we are disgusted with what the music scene has become. With a few exceptions, there is no 'real' goth music scene. With us, what you see is what you get. You can come by any of our homes any day of the week and you will see us as we represent ourselves in our band. This is no dress up game to us, it is our way of life.
Most of our lyrics center around the macabre and the strange, with almost a sickly poetic bent to them. We go by the motto "If you don't like the way we play, go listen to someone else" That is our mentality, and it seems to be the mentality of our fans.
Our most popular songs so far are 'Broke' 'Beautiful Decay' and the fan favorite 'Bugs on me' which actually started as an inside joke.
We are currently working on a 'backstage' style home video that we would like to publish free on the net when we get it finished, as a gift to our loyal fanbase.
So, if you would like to keep up on the "Disgusted" news, our band has a Myspace account that gets updated frequently. Most friend requests receive a reply. ALL will be viewed and taken into consideration (Don't worry we're not picky or Diva-ish or anything like that)
Check us out,or our singer Baron(that's the one with the extensive face tattoos-yes you heard that right) will have to slit his own throat in despair!
