Land for sale by owner in Fairhope Alabama
(above photo of main pier in Fairhope (dont have photo of land yet))
The land is located on the outskirts of the beautiful bay side city of Fairhope, in Baldwin County, Alabama. It lays approximately, 4.5 miles east of the Mobile Bay, 4 miles east of downtown Fairhope, 1 mile east of the Fairhope city limits, and 18 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico. It consists of a continuous 8 acres of wooded land. All of the surrounding land, on both sides of Lawrence road, (were it lays), has been developed into plots, ranging from 1 to 3 acres, with houses. The land is large enough to be subdivide into many smaller plots for development of houses ect.., or kept whole for agricultural or homestead use. Though the street it's on is residential, the land could be zoned for anything. It is currently zoned as "timberland" (for tax reasons), but before that was "agricultural". And within the neighboring area you can find a variety of differing land usage: crop fields, (mostly of cotton and pecan), Farms, horse ranches, and even a country club complete with an 18 hole golf coarse.
