WELCOME TO OUR FINE ART GARDEN!
We are three Kansas Artists, each with very different styles
of art. We call ourselves: "Kindred Spirits with Brushes"
Jerri Foster is a cancer survivor originally from Oregon and most of her early work is ocean and mountain scenes,which
bring back happy memories of her life on the Oregon coast. She
loves flowers, animals, and people, working mostly in oils or
pastels. Jerri began painting as a means to recover from the
ravages of cancer and continues painting today because of the
enjoyment of creating beautiful art. Being of Native American
decent, she also does some western art.
Stacie Kroos is a fourth generation artist who specializes
in fantasy art, portraits, and whatever strikes her fancy.. She works in watercolor, colored pencil, and acrylics.Stacie is a wife and mother of two, who uses her art as an outlet from stress and the need to express her creativity through her artistic talent.She has participated in the Kansas city streetpainting festival for five consecutive years, and has taken art-related classes at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park Kansas. She has also shown at Starbucks Coffee in Olathe as well as other various coffeehouses around the Kansas city area.Stacie currently works part time in the picture framing business and resides in Olathe,Kansas.
Linda Wisely is Stacie's mother and has shown and sold her
art in Kansas and throughout the United States for over 25 years. Linda paints many different subjects, and choses her
subject matter by the emotional impact it has on her. She
especially loves to do people in romantic and moody settings.
Though proficient in many mediums, Linda does most of her art
in acrylic or pastels. Her work is characterized by the use of
bright colors and deep contrast. She has done many portraits
of people and animals in addition to murals.
All of us are confident and accomplished artists who regularly show our work in the Kansas City area. We are all
available for commissions and each has a very individual style
as can be seen in the photos of our work on this website.
All three women are active members of the Ottawa Kansas
Art Guild and the Olathe Visual Artists.
