Private Art Lessons with Helen Allman
Helen Allman, [that's ME!}, is a certified Art teacher,and Artist. I graduated from UNA with a B.S. in Art. I have been teaching art locally for many years. If you are interested in art and would like to take lessons in drawing, painting (watercolor, acrylic}, sculpture (paper mache), collage, plaster casting, photography, or other medium, I can teach you. I charge $12.00 an hour which also covers {some} supplies. My fee is about the same as piano or dance lessons.Children and adults,homeschoolers, the homebound are welcome. If you would like individual attention, or take a class with a friend, this is a great place for you. If you have begun an art project, but just need help "fixing it " I can help you with that too. I usually teach in my home, but I am flexible. I accept no more than 5 students per class. If you prefer one on one, the fee is the same. You can come once, or as often as you choose. I can adjust my schedule to work with yours. You will find that the individual attention you will get from me will encourage your creativity and confidence in art. Many of my students have gone on to winning awards and even selling their art work for profit. Some just want to make a special gift and don't know how or where to start. Most students just need a little encouragement and direction and then they take off in an area of art they feel most comfortable in. Try it!
