This is the Web site of A group of whitewater enthousiasts, living and paddling in Greece.
Who are we?
TEAMadara is a group of kayakers, based in Athens, but you can find them paddling all over Greece.
Nikos of the Team says: There are not many people paddling here, so if you spot a small group playing around, catch that eddy and say hello... there is a chance it will be us! (We 'll be propably running late, trying to film every rapid, so we'll wear headlamps)
River running in Mornos and Inahos in central Greece, or playboating in Alfios in Peloponessos, together with some creeking in Upper Loussios, is where you usually find us...until we end up in some cossy litlle tavern for some delicious lamb chops.
But when the snow starts melting in April, or after a rainy winter day, the no-eddy runs of Erymanthos, or the tight Upper Mornos gorge, are more likely the places we choose! Until it's time to go further north, into Epirus big water of Arahthos and the remote gorge of Aoos, beneath the great Tymfi range.
Stay with us, as we paddle along the Greek rivers, read our trip reports and stories. Become a part of our on-line community. Whether you 'd like to share your adventures with us, send or seek info about water levels, GPS coordinates, shuttle details, or even better arrange a river RV with us and hopefully between you...feel free to communicate.
