Street Stock fabricator, Rob Davies, has been involved in stock car racing for about 15 years. The highlight of this time was in 2000 when he and Steve Miner won the street stock season championship at El Paso Speedway Park.
Currently, Davies Dirt Toys has just finished fabricating a '79 metric Monte Carlo, affectionatly called the "Batmobile", to campaign in 2004 at both SNM Speedway and El Paso Speedway Park. The car will be driven by Rob and also by Wes Benson, who is moving up from go-carts in 2004. The car is sponsored by RUDOLPH CHEVROLET, with special commitments from the Rudolph Chevrolet Body Shop and Parts Department. Rob and Wes hope to be competitive in 2004 and look forward to the stout competition that the street stock class at Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico and El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas has to offer.
