Biography:

Jerry Fox is a Medical Technologist (ASCP) and a Reserve Teacher in the Dayton, Ohio Public School system. His teaching assignments have been music, science and mathematics. He holds a Bachelor Of Arts Degree from Antioch University and a M.S.A. from Central Michigan University. He is currently working toward a Ph.D. in Music History at Capella University.
Jerry has written several articles on Jazz History and several articles on notable Jazz musicians. Throughout the years he has networked and played vibraphone, piano, marimba with top national and local musicians such as Cecil McBee, Pete Stinson, Derrick Gardner, Eddie Brookshire, Calvin Harvey, Freeman Lee, David Roy, Willie Craig, Chuck Wade and Raymond Herring. He now is leading his on trio and duo and playing in the Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati area.
